Why ETI

Built so you actually finish, and actually build

Every part of the cohort is designed around one outcome: you leave able to build real things, not just having watched someone else build them.

Beginner Friendly

No prior coding experience required. We start from how the web actually works.

Live Practical Classes

Real-time sessions, not pre-recorded videos you'll abandon by week two.

AI-Powered Learning

Learn to build with ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek — and understand what they generate.

Portfolio Projects

Leave with shipped, deployed projects you can show employers and clients.

Mentorship

Direct access to instructors for code review, career advice, and unsticking.

Certificate of Completion

A certificate that reflects work you actually did, not just attendance.

Community Support

A cohort of peers and alumni who keep showing up after week seven ends.

Curriculum

Seven weeks, in order, for a reason

Each week builds on the last — you won't touch APIs before you can manipulate the DOM, and you won't touch AI tools before you can read the code they write.

  1. Week 01

    HTML Fundamentals

    • Semantic HTML
    • Forms & accessibility basics
    • Structuring a real page
  2. Week 02

    CSS & Responsive Design

    • The box model
    • Responsive units & media queries
    • Design-to-code translation
  3. Week 03

    • Building real component layouts
    • Common layout bugs and fixes
  4. Week 04

    JavaScript Basics

    • Variables, functions, control flow
    • Working with the DOM
    • Events & interactivity
  5. Week 05

    DOM Manipulation & APIs

    • Fetching real data
    • Rendering dynamic content
    • Reading API documentation
  6. Week 06

    Debugging & Working With AI

    • Reading error messages instead of fearing them
    • Prompt engineering for developers
    • Using ChatGPT, Claude & DeepSeek without losing understanding
  7. Week 07

    Build & Ship

    • Building a full site with AI assistance
    • Debugging AI-generated code
    • Deploying your project live

The honest part

Why AI isn't enough on its own

We teach AI tools deliberately, in week six and seven — after the fundamentals, not instead of them. Here's the reasoning behind that order.

AI writes code. It doesn't debug your understanding.

When AI-generated code breaks in a way it can't fix, you need to read the error yourself. That skill only comes from actually learning the fundamentals.

Clients and employers ask questions AI can't answer for you.

"Why did you structure it this way?" is a question about your judgment, not a prompt. You need to be able to explain — and defend — your own work.

The best AI-assisted developers are strong developers first.

AI multiplies existing skill. It doesn't replace it. Someone who understands HTML, CSS, and JavaScript gets dramatically more out of ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek than someone who doesn't.

FAQ

Questions worth answering upfront

Do I need any coding experience to join?

No. The cohort is built for beginners and starts from first principles — how browsers, HTML, and CSS actually work.

Do I need to own a laptop?

Yes, a laptop is required for the live practical sessions and projects. We'll ask about this during registration.

How much time will this take each week?

Expect live class time plus practice hours outside class. We'll confirm the exact weekly schedule once your cohort group is assigned.

Will I be able to use AI tools without cheating myself out of learning?

That's the point of week 6 and 7: you'll learn to use ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek deliberately, and to read, debug, and understand every line they produce.

What will I have built by the end?

A set of deployed projects — including a portfolio site — that you can show to employers or freelance clients immediately.

Is the certificate recognized by employers?

The certificate reflects the projects and skills you complete during the cohort. What carries the most weight with employers is your shipped portfolio, which the certificate accompanies.

What if I fall behind during the cohort?

Mentorship exists for exactly this. Reach out early — the earlier a blocker is raised, the faster it gets resolved.

How do I pay the ₦250,000 fee?

After you register, our admissions team will contact you directly with payment instructions and accepted payment methods.

Are slots really limited?

Yes. Cohort size is capped to keep live classes and mentorship genuinely personal, not to create artificial urgency.

What happens after I submit the registration form?

You'll see a confirmation on-screen, and our admissions team will reach out with next steps and payment instructions.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Refund terms will be shared clearly in your payment instructions before you complete payment, so you can decide with full information.
